Energy usage, recycling ,weight loss and granola….let’s talk about energy.

Over the years we have been informed that the world is experiencing a shortage of energy resources. Whether it is true or not the fact remains that the world population is very much aware of the condition of our planet and it’s resources.

We as a whole population have been bombarded with information from every direction until we have finally got it and are applying it in our lives…most of us.

Let me list for you some of the things we do naturally now to conserve energy:

  • Turn off lights when we are not in a room

  • use energy efficient appliances

  • unplug unused appliances ( if you don’t do this you should it can save you up to 15% on your bill)

  • insulate our homes, seal our windows

  • use energy efficient heat sources

  • do not use heat when we are not home

  • use cold water for our laundry to decrease use of hot water heater

  • WE RECYCLE!!!!

THINK ABOUT RECYCLING

Ten years ago recycling was something just “the Save the Earth” hippie type Californians did. Now it is almost a sin to throw an aluminum can in the wrong receptacle.

*Did you know granola was invented by the hippies at Woodstock who were in charge of feeding the half a million people who showed up?” It’s true.

The point is all these thing we have learned and have become habits to us over time just by practicing and being reminded of them constantly.

HOW DOES THIS RELATE TO LOSING WEIGHT?
