For the past few weeks my body has been screaming at me to get up (at the God awful hour of 4AM) and walk.

I wake up to the sounds of birds chirping and one other sound…silence. Something my mind has been craving. But do you think I have listened to my mind and body?

That would be a big NO…until today.

Today I said I will not be bullied by the little devil on my shoulder that keeps saying “Just a few more winks of sleep would be nice” “You are soooo tired” “You can start tomorrow” Well today is that tomorrow.

I got up and I feel GREAT.

Today is the day I take everything I have been learning and incorporate it into my life. I invite you to come along with me.

In fact I have found something that I think you are really going to love. In my constant search of 3 minute routines I found something that I never really thought about doing, but again my body has been leading me to new things and new ideas. Let me explain.

I used to get headaches almost daily and found that if I kept the Tylenol for migraines in my purse or car and took one immediately I could bypass the headache all together. However that medication has caffeine and aspirin in it, both of which wreak havoc on my stomach. I haven’t had many headache in the past eight years but have started having them again and neck pain. I have been having stomach pain also for years and last week actually went to the doctor for it. That’s saying a lot right there, because if you know anything about nurses you know that

NURSES DO NOT GO TO THE DOCTOR

unless they are dying or having classic symptom. Plus one of my friends was just diagnosed with cancer and one just died from cancer. So feeling very sad and a bit paranoid I went. Thankfully for me she did not find anything wrong .

One of the reasons we create more stomach acid is stress and one of the main causes of headaches is stress.

So my mind began to click click click. Less stress less stomach acid no stomach pain. Less stress less headaches less tylenol less stomach pain.

In my search for natural cures I stumbled onto a brilliant woman named Kris Fondran, whose work is the study of yoga.

She explains that in her research not only is yoga a great stress reliever but an excellent exercise for weight loss and getting rid of belly fat. She actually performed a study on herself and found that during this routine I am about to share with you she was burning 7 calories per minute.

Yoga has been proven to connect body, mind and spirit and over time this connection can enhance your physical, emotional and mental capacities, relieving stress and improve overall health and well being” She goes on to say,”It will also change your posture, confidence and poise in ways you never imagined possible”

Check it out here.
