“I wish I could stop eating gluten but pizza is my most favorite food in the world”

“Well when it comes to having pain, bloating and other horrible symptoms…it is quite easy. Now I just eat from the earth. Fruit, veggies, nut, seeds, lean meat and fish.”

This was a conversation overheard in the dentist office today. I can’t agree with them more.

Yes Pizza is a wonderful food and hard to resist, but if it makes your stomach hurt and you are miserable after eating it, your body is trying to tell you something.

Maybe the pizza girl doesn’t have to give it up, but if she is overweight I can almost guarantee you that she is eating something that her body is saying STOP to and she is just not listening.

Here are some ways that our bodies speak to us.

INDIGESTION

BLOATING

DIARRHEA

ACID PAIN

INSOMNIA

GAS

LETHARGY

RASH

TOOTH DECAY

BAD BREATH

I am not promoting a Paleoistic way of life, or any other “diet” per say. God forbid!

I CAN’T STAND ANY RULES ABOUT EATING.

But I will tell you this.. after trying those little dry salted soy bean snacks when they first became popular. I was feeling like “Hey I’m doing something really healthy here and bought a big bag of them out of those big bins. Only to find out that those little beauties are like bombs going off in my intestines.

I was miserable and found that I also can’t eat

EDAMAME, OR SOY MILK OR ANYTHING ELSE with soy.

It’s not that I am allergic or it made me sick.  It did however make me incredibly uncomfortable. So much so that they are now totally not worth even tasting one.  I also rid myself of any kind of chewy treat from my life, after pulling off a crown with a piece of taffy, that cost me around $1000.00
