There are two things that you must do in any endeavor of life to succeed.

I have been enrolled in an online business school for the past 4 years. Last year was supposed to be the year I graduated and launched my online business for real. However life did not see it that way and I was taken on another journey. I can’t say that if I could have done things differently I would be any close to my goals today. This journey has also led me in a direction I never would have otherwise seen. So what I am about to tell you is not set in stone. As long as you keep your goal in your hearts line of sight you can always find a way back to it.

IGNORE DISTRACTION:

Not always possible but good advice in this world of information. THERE IS A LOT OF IT out there and it is so easy to get distracted. If you find something that works and makes sense to you STICK WITH IT!

If that means removing yourself from lists, then do that. ( even this list if you are not in sync with what I am preaching here or you are not interested in following the 3 minute way of getting fit) . If it means filtering all of your email into a folder that you only read on Fridays, then do that. If it means finding an accountablility partner to seek counsel with when considering purchasing products or programs  then do that!

MAKE STRATEGIC ALIGNMENTS:

The things you do should help you continue the path not HINDER you. That is the purchases you make, the relationships you build, the time you devote to reading articles, etc should all enable you to continue moving forward. If they are constantly pushing and pulling you in different directions, then distance yourself from that.

I have been able to stay on track with this program, because it fits perfectly into my life and I believe in it no matter what else I read or try. I know this works. I would be lying however if I said I never go distracted. It is a skill to train yourself to recognize just when you are distracted and when you are learning.

The question to ask yourself to keep in alignment is this: Is it worth it?

Is it worth feeling like crap the next morning after you have gone off your clean style of eating?
Is it worth getting trapped in the bottomless pit of depression and self hate because you haven’t even tried to exercise? Fill in the blanks for whatever specific thing you experience¬† that is just not worth going in a different direction no matter what.

The benefits of this program far outweigh any argument against it.
The above two points can be applied to any endeavor in your life. Keep focused and don’t give up. Surround yourself with uplifting and like minded people.

You will have a far greater chance of succeeding if you do this than if you do nothing.
