“The weight loss industry has got to be one of the most frustrating industries to be involved in. There are so many businesses and well meaning people that are trying to make a living helping others to lose weight.”

Yesterday I watched a video that claimed that you could have a “FLAT BELLY” in 24 hours by following a simple diet. It was simply fasting in reality. But the comments below show how most people see this type of information. One person commented that he followed the diet and the next morning “It WORKED” he had totally disappeared and now needed help to find himself.

This prompted me to come up with my own “PERFECT DIET.”  The next day I walked into my place of work and announced to all my female co workers that I had developed the perfect diet. I went on to explain that from now on I was only going to eat pictures of food. That way I would never feel I was depriving myself and could pretty much eat anything I wanted.

Of course I am not serious, but my PERFECT DIET was just about as ridiculous as the “FLAT BELLY in 24 HOURS” diet.

There are the extremes and then there are the “FADS” God help us. As a medical professional I see my patients lose and gain weight daily for different reasons. But there is one constant, one definite reason why people lose weight. You can argue until you are blue in the face, with all the science facts you can throw at me but I know this one thing for sure. People who do not eat lose weight. PERIOD!!

I am not promoting starvation. On the contrary, I just want you to know that unless you create a caloric deficit meaning less calories in than what you burn daily (at least 500 less than your BMI) you will not lose weight. ( I can calculate this for you)

If you are eating more fat or protein, you must have a caloric deficit.

Lift weights to build muscles. Muscle does burn calories.
This KETO thing is really a mind blower for me. As I also believe that you are what you eat. I cannot eat total fat diet and not feel fat or feel that I am wearing it.

 

Try this: Eat 4 meals a day.

Fruits and veggies are on the earth for us to eat.

Breakfast

Lunch (make this the largest)

4 oclock (this is tres French)

Dinner

No snacks and no soda or other sugary drinks just water and lots of it.

Make sure you are either exercising 30 minutes a day by doing the 3 minute workout or walking at least 30 minutes a day without going to a gym.(I can design this for you as well)

Keep in mind what your caloric deficit is and do not go beyond it ( if you want me to do it for you join the KitchenFit club)

Lift weights to build muscles, that do burn more calories and also make you look better.

Get plenty of sleep.

Fresh air.

Look good to feel good. It is proven that this does elevate your feel good hormones which in turn keep you on track to weight loss. Use effective style and grooming to feel lovely before you lose the weight.

There it is. Stop making it so difficult. Stop knocking yourself out beating yourself up. You are the only one that can make it happen, unless you are in the military and you are forced.

There is no PERFECT DIET.

It is all up to you.
