WHY NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS ARE SCARIER THAN DATING TAYLOR SWIFT

Published by Jan on

I recently took my 11 year old grand daughter and her friend up to our mountain condo for the weekend. On the way up and basically for the entire weekend

I was blessed with the musical talents and lyrics of Taylor Swift and I also now know all the words to “Do you want to build a snowman?”

My grand daughters friend made the statement while driving back down the mountain towards home that every Taylor Swift song except one is about breaking up with a boy.

NOW THAT IS SCARY!

She is NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER AGAIN…..

That is exactly why I do not recommend making any New Years Resolution, especially about weight loss or lifestyle changes.

It basically sets you up for failure.

When I hear someone’s New Years resolution, all it sounds like is blah, blah, blah to me.

  • Here is my solution to the New Years Resolution;

  • DO SOMETHING TODAY THAT YOU CAN REPEAT TOMORROW AND THE NEXT DAY

  • I SUGGEST DRINKING ICE WATER

  • 2 GLASSES UPON RISING AND

  • ONE BEFORE EACH MEAL

  • WATER IS A NATURAL APPETITE SUPPRESSANT

  • GOOD FOR THE DIGESTIVE TRACT

  • KIDNEYS AND

  • SKIN

It is easy and soon will become something that if you don’t do you will miss. I have also read that by doing this faithfully for a period of one year, and nothing else you could lose up to 4 pounds of body fat. 4 is almost half of 10 and I would totally love to lose 10 pounds in a year.

How about you?
